“As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering,
do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.”
Our greeting for 2018 is found in 2 Timothy 4:5. Sober means balanced, consistent, solid, and clear-minded stability. By God’s grace we, as a church, want to be a rock, always preaching and living out the sound Biblical doctrine of salvation: by grace alone, through faith alone, which is found in Jesus Christ alone.
Knowing that a true Christian will have to suffer hardships, as a church and as individual believers, we commit ourselves to following in the footsteps of our Lord and Saviour, as have the heroes of the faith. This means suffering whatever it takes in order to hear the blessed words of our Master, “Well done, good and faithful servant!”.
In a world that is disoriented, lost in darkness, and with no hope, we exist to proclaim that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. We faithfully proclaim the gospel, which is the good news that God offers salvation through Jesus Christ. By means of preaching, missionary activities, and personal evangelism, we are engaged in the greatest work ever possible for a Christian.
The ministry of our church is diverse and continuously expanding. We strive to serve our Lord with whole heartedness, whole mindedness, and a whole soul. We are not perfect, but we do our best to serve our perfect God to the best of our abilities. Will you consider visiting us or perhaps even joining us in this marvellous journey? We pray that you will. May God bless you!
Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the roar of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out,
“Hallelujah! For the Lord our God
the Almighty reigns.
Let us rejoice and exult
and give Him the glory,
for the marriage of the Lamb has come,
and his Bride has made herself ready;
it was granted her to clothe herself
with fine linen, bright and pure”
for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.

The Rider on a White Horse
Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war.
